My mother
I am a 23 year old man. My mother dresses indecent at times and is dating men on dating apps. I talk to her about how she dresses and ask her to start wearing hijab again but she doesn’t listen. I also have younger sisters who now have copied her and date and dress indecently and when I get upset with them and try to convince them otherwise, they don’t listen because they are copying their mother and their mother says it’s ok. This is a lot for me to deal with because I have alot going on in my life separately. Will I be punished if I start to ignore what they do and not question them for my own sanity.

May Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala fills your life with iman, aafiat happiness and success.
It is heart-wrenching to see the plight of a mature woman, your mother. May Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala have mercy on her and your sisters.
Son, our goal should be to bring ourselves, our loved ones and the whole Muslim ummah near to Allah.
For this we need lots of patience and wisdom. Firstly, make lots of dua for them after every Salah. Secondly, Try renewing their iman by talking to them about Allah ﷻ, His creations, His infinite power and our weakness. Thirdly, if your mother and sisters are single, encourage them to marry and have their needs fulfilled through halal avenues.
Compassion and patience are the necessary ingredients to fulfil our duty of da’wah to our lord and our families.
