Losing faith and feeling like allah is cursing me
salam everyone,
I feel like I am being cursed by Allah. I’ve been reading articles and feel like I can relate since my life has been miserable and nothing good has happened. I can’t focus in my studies i have been doing terrible in my studies I have no friends and I’m depressed. i pray everyday for allah to forgive me and to bring happiness in my life. I’ve been praying for over a year or two and still I feel like I am cursed. What does this mean for me? Is Allah upset with me. I am also starting to lose faith and worry that I will be going in the wrong path.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Wa ‘alaykum us-salāmu wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
Dear son,
May Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala make you strong; in faith, physically, emotionally, spiritually, financially and in each and every aspect of life.
Our beloved prophet sallalahu alaihi wassalam was born orphan, mother and grand father died soon, lived in poverty, was tortured immensely, none of his sons lived, his daughters were divorced, had to to migrate out of his favourite city, had to fight the oppressing elite for survival. And yet Allah loved him.
One of our great prophets syeduna Harun made Dua, his brother syeduna Musa to whom Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala spoke said amin and Allah in the Quran Karim said that the Dua was accepted. It took them forty years to see it materialize.
Only a person who dies on disbelief in the lord of the stars and planets and plants and us is the one who is cursed. Our lord, the most Merciful says,
قُلْ يَا عِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُوا عَلَىٰ أَنفُسِهِمْ لَا تَقْنَطُوا مِن رَّحْمَةِ اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًا ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ﴾
[ الزمر: 53]
English – Sahih International
Say, “O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.”
Surah Az-Zumar 53
He has granted us the opportunity to live this test, this precious short life. Whoever passes this test will get what no eyes have seen no ears heard and no heart thought of. The harder the test, the lenient the marking.
Son, this life is not for self pitying but for working hard for both worlds, to be a strong Muslim, one who does his part to change the world for better.
Allah’s blessings are of two types,some basic like oxygen, water, food etc we all have them other type of blessings is the secondary ones like riches, beauty etc these are divided amongst humans in such a way that life in this world becomes sustainable. All these blessings are a means of this test.
You have faith in the lord the most loving, the most liberal giver. it is the real blessing of Allah.
Study hard surround yourself with pious friends and mentors and obey your loving lord, Allah.
