I am Hanafi. Can you comment on https://askimam.org/public/question_detail/46593? I think the answer is incomplete or at least it should be more detailed. I think the question addresses (maybe) the biggest problem not only of the Muslim youth, but also all Muslims, really well. It is very depressing in this age. Thus, I would even suggest discussing this in higher circles of the Ulema.

Lots of heartfelt duas for you dear brother.
Dear brother we learn new things all our lives, from letters and from life itself, according to our God gifted capabilities and capacities.
Our Merciful lord has given us this only one, short, very precious life. This life, a golden chance is actually a test to be passed so as to be promoted to the everlasting pleasures, beauty, comfort and blessings of Jannah.
A test is a test, but the reward keeps us going.
Similarly we are being tested with ease and blessings that we take for granted and are not grateful for and with difficulties where we show lack of patience.
So when you see others enjoying themselves with sins and disobedience to such a Merciful lord who blessed us with life and on top of that a chance of attaining a superior afterlife, feel pity for them and not yourself. It is suicide, doom that they have choosen.
