explanation of verse
I just recently asked a question and you said believing that the verse, ‘and stay in your houses’, only applies to the wives of the Prophet SAW is not kufr. However, I thought that when a person goes against scholarly consensus then that becomes kufr of indifference or kufr of turning away. Don’t all classical scholars believe that these verses apply to all women instead of just the wives of the Prophet SAW?

Due to the long academic discussion on Tafsīr and Aqīdah, a person will not become a Kāfir.
