Nikah Help
Salam Alaykum,
I am trying to marry a sister and she has accepted my proposal, but the her mother has not. The mother rejected me on the basis that they would not be comfortable with me because I am different. I assume this on the basis that I am an American revert and not Arab (Egyptian). I was initially advised by my Imam that the mother was willing and would help with guiding the father because they are separated and he only likes Palestinians. It would be very helpful for any advice to help the process along Insha’Allah.
