Madinah University
Asalamu alykum,
I’m from Scotland and I’m 18. I would like to ask about studying at the Islamic University of Madinah. Its my dream and I would like to go there InshaAllah. Do I need to study anything before going there, if so- please advise what I need to study before going there, and any other information regarding it. request for duas

Wa’alaykum as Salam wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuhu,
We all would love to live and study in Madīnah. May Allāh Ta’ālā accept this wish of ours.
However, it is also essential that we seek ‘Ilm from the correct sources.
Unfortunately, the ‘Aqīdah and Fiqh that is taught in Madīnah University is incorrect and contradicts that of the Ahl as-Sunnah. They follow the Atharī ‘Aqīdah, do not follow a Madhab, follow the teachings of Muḥammad ibn ‘Abdil Wahhāb, and regard some of the most senior Muḥaddithīn as astray.
It will be best for you to enroll in a Dārul Ulūm in the UK.
