Istijmaar
Sheikh,please,can you give explain the process of istijmar in details like how to perform,what object may be used,etc

Wa’alaykum as Salām wa rahmatullāhi wa barakātuhu,
In the absence of water, one may resort to the usage of toilet paper, stones, dried clay, or anything which is considered pure in itself and has the ability to purify and absorb.
Anything that is rough, coarse, and will cause damage and harm to the private organ should not be used for purification in this regard.
