Is surgery to fix asymmetry permissible?
Hi. My left eye is smaller than my right. I’m afraid my husband to be will notice it and stop being attracted to me.
Performing surgery may allow my left eye to look more open and wide like my right eye, I just don’t know if that is permissble since it’s not for a health issue.

Assalāmuʿalaykum Wa Raḥmatullāhi Wa Barakātuh
In the enquired scenario, it will be not permissible to undergo such surgery, since the Sharīʿah has strongly advised against the changing of one’s physical being as created by Allāh ﷻ.
However, if there are some health issues that arise as a result of your condition, then you may undergo such necessary treatment as prescribed by a qualified medical practitioner.
There is no reason to be afraid that your husband will stop being attracted to you because of that. It should be noted that when a couple marries, it is Allāh ﷻ who increases them in love and mercy, to bond and to overlook.
