Is animal statue haram?
Assalamu Alaikum.
In my living room, there is a statue of a Rabbit inside a showcase(for decoration purpose). My Question is will it be impermissible for me to pray my salah in that room? The statue is not in the place of Qibla. When I face the Qibla, it is basically behind me. And is it haram to even keep that thing in a muslim house?

Our Nabi ﷺ said, Angels do not enter a house wherein there is a dog or a(n animate) picture.
It is extremely disliked in islam to pray in a place where there is an animate picture or statue.
It is not permissible to have animate picture and statues at home.
