Assalamualaikum Sheikh
Is it permissible to watch educational lecture videos of science from a institute which is paid but 3rd party (which is not published by institute it maybe students of that institute or other people) make that video free in online in telegram/YouTube like platform
Is it permissible to watch that lectures to gain knowledge?as these institutes are very expensive is it permissible for them who can’t afford that?

Wa’alaykum as-Salām wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuhu,
If the institute charges for the videos and they are meant to be only for the students, then it will not be permissible to circulate or even watch such videos without the consent of the university. If one cannot afford the videos, he/should right to the institute and seek permission, explaining to them that their students have posted the videos, and you simply desire to watch.
