Caused parents to miss a prayer
Assalmau Alaykum. Sorry for this messed up question, but please help me, Jazakum Allah Khairan. A time came when my brother became a kafir, and he told me. I couldn’t tell my parents. And one time, my father swore by Allah on him to be our Imam in the prayer. After we finished, I repeated the prayer but couldn’t tell my parents to this day.
I fear this could destroy our family, but this could be just an excuse to myself. So, I just want help and guidance how to go about this to repent. Just tell them flatout, or maybe this is unwise. I don’t want to die on this sin.

You will have to tell your parents. Probably they can convince him to accept Islām again. It is compulsory that you also inform your father about that prayer. It is also essential that you get the local scholars to speak to him.
