Question on dream interpretation (subject: marriage)
Salam everyone,
So this dream was seen by my moms friend. She said she dreamed about me telling her that I was engaged to someone but she got upset that my mom didn’t tell her about it since my mom wanted to hide it from her. She cried in the dream also and said that my dad and I reassured her that everything’s gonna be fine. so I’m confused on my part on what this might represent for me? Is there any scholar source about this interpretation? Also if anyone is a scholar at these things please answer jazakullah

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
Usually dreaming about engagement is a good sign when the dreamer is happy about it. It might indicate happiness, honor and even engagement. It might not mean anything significant either. It seems more like scattered thoughts showing up in form of dream.
So do not worry but give some charity and advise your mum’s friend to read Ayat al-Kursi, the four Quls, Durood Sharif before sleeping.
