Assalamu alaykum,
A madman Muslim was preaching that Hentai was halal. Hentai is drawn and animated pornography. Can you please provide a fatwa so I can clearly show people that Hentai specifically is Haram? People are believing that mirror images have no awrah and that drawings have no awrah, so it is permissible to look at drawn pornography.

Dear questioner,
Each and every type of porn is haram. May Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala protect us from the novel fitnas of the end of times.
It was narrated that ‘Abdullah ibn Mas‘ood رضي الله عنه said: The Prophet ﷺ said: “No woman should look at another woman then describe her to her husband so that it is as if he is looking at her.
(Narrated by al-Bukhari)
If simply describing, leads a man to imagine a non-mahram woman, is not permissible, then it is more appropriate that looking at images accompanied by sound, should be forbidden as well. Drawings are more provocative than imagining, it is more appropriate that it should be prohibited.
These pornographic animated cartoons are pure evil that destruct families, erode morals in children, develop a love for sex in their hearts, wipes out modesty and chastity in their hearts. Therefore, any such drawings/ cartoons/ mirror images are not permissible in Islam.
