Allah and his rasool knows best
سَلامٌ عَليْكُم
Hope you are well
Would it be permissible to say الله و رسول العام during this era as the sahabah would say so in the presence of nabi صلى عليه و سلام and We aren’t. So should we just say الله العالم ?
Answer
Wa ʿAlaykumus Salām Wa Raḥmatullāhi Wa Barakātuh
Since the Holy Prophet ﷺ had already departed from this temporary abode, and Allāh is ever-living, it would be best that one suffices on the words “Allāh knows best (الله أعلم)”.
