Umrah
Question
We performed one umrah on entering Makkah. We then did ziyarah of taif and did not enter a state of ehram as we didn’t have intention of umrah. We then went to masjid e aisha the next day for ehram and did an umrah. Is this valid?

Wa’alaykum as-Salām wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuhu,
Yes, what you done is correct. Since you returned to a designated Miqāt, donned the Ihrām, and performed the Umrah without any infractions, you are in compliance with the required procedures. As such, there is no penalty (damm) required in this case. Your subsequent Umrah performed with the proper intention and Ihrām is valid.
