ASALAAM O WALLAYKUM

I am troubled by the fact that I ended up praying Fajar this beautiful day of Eid without Ghusal I did perform Wuddhu…I had intercourse with my spouse late at night but got a bit lazy woke up this morning it was almost time for fajar, in haste I forgot to perform Ghusal but did perform Wuddhu and prayed Fajar…please help me what I need to do in order to make up for Salat I performed unintentionally in the condition of not being purified (without Ghusal when it was compulsory)

Answer

Wa’alaykum as Salām wa rahmatullāhi wa barakātuhu,

Aapologies for the very delayed esponse. For future reference:

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“Allāh has forgiven my nation for mistakes and forgetfulness, and for what they are forced to do”. [Ibn Mājah]

Based on the above, Allāh has overlooked your circumstances. Therefore, you are not sinful in any way.

However, the Fajr Ṣalāh will still have to be repeated as the obligation remains upon you since it had not been valid.
