Is playing cricket professionally and income of a professional cricketer halal

Wa’alaykum as Salam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu,

Cricket is not a valid proffession, and hence it will not be permissible to make it a source of one’s income. There are many other evils associated with proffessional sports, example: intermingling, music, photography etc. Due to all these factors, it is not permissible to play cricket on a proffessional level.
