Teaching sajdah aayaat

As Salaamualaykum Mufti Saheb
What is the ruling If one is sitting infront of a class and teaching them an aayah of sajdah.. is the ustaads reading and their repetition counted as one sitting or is there a separate sajdah for ustaads reciting and a seprate sajdah for the students reciting?

Answer
Wa’alaykum as Salam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu,
The teachers reading and students repetition will be counted as one sitting, as long as no one leaves the classroom. Only one Sajda is binding on the teacher for reciting and then listening from the students.
ومن حكم هذه السجدة التداخل حتى يكتفي في حق التالي بسجدة واحدة وإن اجتمع في حقه التلاوة والسماع وشرط التداخل اتحاد الآية واتحاد المجلس حتى لو اختلف المجلس واتحدت الآية أو اتحد المجلس واختلفت الآية لا تتداخل كذا في المحيط ولو تبدل مجلس السامع دون التالي يتكرر الوجوب عليه ولو تبدل مجلس التالي دون السامع يتكرر الوجوب عليه لا على السامع على قول أكثر المشايخ وبه نأخذ كذا في العتابية والمجلس واحد وإن طال أو أكل لقمة أو شرب شربة أو قام أو مشى خطوة أو خطوتين أو انتقل من زاوية البيت أو المسجد إلى زاوية إلا إذا كانت الدار كبيرة كدار السلطان وإن انتقل في المسجد الجامع من زاوية إلى زاوية لا يتكرر الوجوب (الفتاوى الهندية (1/ 134)
