Request for advice regarding an idea that occurred to me for reviving the Deen
Assalamu Alaykum,
I am a youth 24 years old. 2 years back I completed my degree in engineering and got a job. Around that time I started to see clearly the evils surrounding us on all sides. I was shocked to see that most of our lives are consumed by sins. Everywhere I looked I could only see evil, and I was not able to find any way of escape. In addition the job that I got gave me very good salary but I was not able to follow the deen properly (even salah was tough). I continued in this hopeless state for almost a year (I tried my best to find a way to fix these problems and made dua).
Then slowly a way opened in front of me and following it I quit my job and went for a coaching to get admission for masters degree in engineering which took almost a year. On the way the idea became clearer. (now I have applied for admission in a good university near Deoband. Please pray for me that I get admitted there so that I can visit Deoband easily)

(Please note that I know I should not write these things as a lay person. I only did this to convey the idea I have to Ulema and swaliheen to ask their opinion.)
I spent almost a year struggling to learn for the masters entrance test with the niyya of Jihad and service to all creation. It proved to be very beneficial spiritually.
Following the rules of deen became easy for me and I became extremly cautious of breaking them.
Altogether I am just a sinful person and I am confused as to why I should get this idea when so many righteous people don’t .
Is the idea that I got for reviving Islam good?
Or is it just another deception of shaytaan?

We commend you for your enthusiasm in this regard and your desire for the entire world to come onto the straight path.
The idea you have presented is somewhat tremendous. However, this cannot be classified as the ‘revival’ of Islām, but rather a means of steering the masses away from evil towards good.
Perhaps, this may fall under the ambit of ‘promoting good and forbidding evil’ from one angle.
To conclude, a question of concern that we put forth is whether or not this idea will further drive the masses into destruction since it may have the potential of pushing people towards this direction – people who were never faced with it, to begin with.
