Recitating something between two sajood
If i recite few words of fatiha or atahiyat after rising from first sajda and then goes back to 2nd sajda is my prayer is valid or do i have to do sajda e sahw ???
Answer
Assalāmu ʿAlaykum Wa Raḥmatullahi Wa Barakātuh
In such an instance, Sajdah al-Sahw will have to be made.
If the Ṣalāh was completed in that state, then it would be obligatory to repeat it so long as the timeframe of that particular Ṣalāh has not lapsed.
If the time has lapsed, then one will suffice on Istighfār (seeking forgiveness from Allāh ﷻ).
