Talaaq given once not given second and third

Dear sir,
Assalamualaikum,
My husband has sent me one talaaq on October 13th 2018 and not sent second and third talaaq and he sent maintenance money with the first talaaq does it mean complete divorce has taken place
Answer
Wa’alaykum as Salam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu,
If three menstrual cycles have passed since your husband issued the divorce, then that divorce is complete, and he cannot take you back unless a new Nikah is made.
And Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala knows best.
