Sarmad name meaning

Can you please share meaning of Sarmad and if it is acceptable name?
Answer
Assalāmuʿalaykum Wa Raḥmatullāhi Wa Barakātuh
The name ‘Sarmad’ (سَرْمَد) is of Arabic origin, which means: endless duration, eternity.
It is inappropriate, and not advisable, to keep such a name for the fact that only Allāh ﷻ is eternal and without duration as He is the creator of time, and hence, not bound by time.
We recommend that the names of the prophets, companions of the Prophet ﷺ and the pious be kept instead.
