Reading fantasy novel
Question
Is it permissible to read fantasy novel where imaginery god/gods, imaginary law of nature, imaginary species, religions, magic, spells etc. are mentioned, but readers can understand that it is just an imagination. It is not ‘false’, it is imagination just for enjoying.

Wa’alaykum as Salam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu,
It is not permissible to read such novels. Even though you know it is false, and you are reading just for leisure, it does have an impact on the subconscious mind.
Rather read such books which are not in conflict with Shari’ah. Even better, read Islamic books, as these will benefit you much more.
