Namaz in darkness

Wa’alaykum as Salam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu,

Yes, if it does not affect your concentration, you may pray in darkness.

If it causes you to lose concentration, it will be Makruh to pray in darkness.

And Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala knows best.
