does my wallah count if i do not say anything else along with it

so someone asked me to say wallah that i didnt do something particularly a sin so i only said wallah and also said inshallah but i said the inshallah quetly as in whispered it so my question is that when i said wallah alone does it count as i didnt say the entire thing like wallah i did not commit this sin when i actually did and i also said inshallah while whispering so my question is does my wallah count as i did not say that wallah i did not commit such a sin and secondly is my inshallah applicable here since i said it while whispering

Wa’alaykum as-Salām wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuhu,
Swearing by the magnificent name of Allāh (Wallāhi) is a solemn act in Islam, particularly when it involves affirming or denying something. It is crucial to use this oath only when one is entirely certain, as it should not be taken lightly or used frivolously. Allāh emphasizes the importance of honesty and warns against making false oaths.
When you say “Wallahi” without completing the entire statement (such as “Wallahi I did not commit such a sin”), it generally indicates affirmation of what was asked in a broad sense. Thus, using it in this manner could lead to misunderstanding or deception, and it is important to seek repentance from Allāh for any unintended implications.
Similarly, whispering “insha Allah” may not convey the sincerity or clarity of intention that is desirable in Islamic practice. While intention matters, it is preferable to state intentions clearly and audibly.
In the instance described, where the oath was not fully completed, there is no obligatory expiation (kaffārah) required.
Nonetheless, it is essential to be mindful of the weight that “Wallahi” carries—it signifies the truthfulness of your statement with Allāh as witness. Therefore, it is advisable to reserve its use for situations where certainty and sincerity are unquestionable. Always remember to uphold the sanctity of oaths and seek guidance from knowledgeable scholars when in doubt.
