Question

AOA. I have a short question, Can I marry the granddaughter of my step sister? I and my step sister have same father but different mother.

Regards
Asad

Answer

WaʿAlaykumus Salām Wa Raḥmatullāhi Wa Barakātuh

The sister with whom you share the same father is termed as a consanguine sister.

The granddaughter of your consanguine sister is your Maḥram; hence, marriage with her is not permitted.

And Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala knows best.
