Invention that might help with halaal nails
Hello, i have seen the topic of nails, nail polish and fake nails being haraam. I have found a way to attach press on nail (fake nails) with out the use of chemicals or glue, my question is if you can get water under the fake nail and get water on the nail so that you can do wudhuu, is considered halaal? Also i dont want to further my efforts if its not considered halaal but basically is it okay to have holes in the free egde of the nail i will explain later if needed.

Wa’alaykum as Salām wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuhu,
There are two reasons why artificial nails are not permissible:
- Preventing water, irrespective whether it is the nail itself, or whether it is the acrylics, UV gel or glue.
- Resemblance of immoral women (depends on the habits in the society where one lives).
If these nails are not a salient habit of those who indulge in low acts, and if it does not prevent water in any way, then it will be permissible.
This is a general answer, and any product will have to be inspected for an accurate and specific ruling.
