How will I know if my skincare ingredients are halal?
Assalaamu alaikum
I have been reading the fatwas regarding collagen, hyaluronic acid, glycerin and ethanol on ask imam and it states that if it is synthetic or if it is from an animal but has been completely changed, then such products will be permissible.
My question is, how will one know what type of ethynol etc it is since it isn’t always mentioned in the ingredients? If it is unknown what type of ingredient been used, will it be permissible to use that product with the hope of it being halal?
