Dreams about dead Mother
Asalam alaikum,
I keep having dreams about my dead mother where she’s either cooking for her family or she puts food out infront of them. The dreams are always about her serving food. In one dream I’m sitting next to her at the table with food infront of us. I’ve never eaten the food she serves though. Could you please explain the meaning behind this if it is known to you. WaʿAlaykumus Salām Wa Raḥmatullāhi Wa Barakātuh
Perhaps this dream could refer to the legacy that your mother had left behind i.e., certain advice and good qualities to follow, as represented by the food.
You have also stated that you did not partake in the food. This could mean that you have not followed the advice she had imparted to you during her lifetime.
Whilst this interpretation is a mere possibility, the truth of this matter lies only Allāh ﷻ.
