I’d like to know the interpretation of a dream I’ve had recently…
The part of the dream I’d like to query regards: I was teaching some family members Surah Kahf (specifically the first 10 Ayaat)… Any significance regarding tht?
Answer
Wa’alaykum as Salām wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuhu,
The first ten verses of Sūrah Kahf are verses by which one will be saved from the Fitan (trials) of Dajjāl.
Besides the above, the greatest interpreter of dreams, Muḥammad ibn Sīrīn (may Allāh Ta’ālā have mercy on him), explained that Sūrah Kahf in a dream signifies a joyful life with an abundance of wealth.
Other experts of dream interpretations explain it to be a means of protection from the harms of this world.
In this case, the meaning of this is to protect yourself from social media and to also advise your family of the same. This is the road to your happiness in this world and salvation in the hereafter, in shā Allāh.
