Dream interpretation

Assalamualyakum warahmatullah

Dear khaledtest.ygs9opkuah-ewx3ldl0m6zq.p.temp-site.link i had a quick question about a short dream I had and was hoping you could interpret it for me. I have become very practicing recently Alhamdulillah.

So I had a dream a few months ago in which I think i saw Musa AS and Jibril AS (a feeling) marching together in daylight (not in a calm way and I couldn’t tell if they were talking to eachother or not) on a dry open plain (desert-like). Then they stop and turn to face towards me or towards something as if almost preparing themselves for something thats about to happen or coming (imminent threat?). I cant remember if there were any people with them or if they were alone.

I couldn’t get the dream out of my head for months. Please tell me what you think

Jazak’allah hummakhair

WaʿAlaykumus Salām Wa Raḥmatullāhi Wa Barakātuh

Our sincere apologies for the much-delayed response.

The following has been extracted from such works containing the knowledge of Ibn Sīrīn (may Allāh have mercy on him) in respect to the interpretation of dreams:

If one sees Allah’s prophet Mūsā, Alayhi-Salam, in a dream, it means that Allah Almighty will destroy a tyrant at his hands. Following that, the person seeing the dream will rise in station, continue to attain one victory after another, and he will never be humiliated or defeated. Seeing Mūsā (Alayhi-Salam) in a dream also denotes the strength of righteous people and the inevitable defeat of iniquitous people. If at the time of seeing a dream with Allah’s Prophet Mūsā (Alayhi-Salam) there exists a tyrant or an unallayed leader, it means that Allah Almighty will destroy him, and one will be saved from his evil.

Seeing Mūsā (Alayhi-Salam) in a dream also means love for travel, praiseworthy intercession, sea travels, a safe return, profits, suffering from slander and false accusations, or perhaps it could mean that one may have weakness in his speech, or tottering, or that he may suffer from a head ill or injury. If someone who has renounced worldly pleasures, an ascetic, or a pious person sees Mūsā (Alayhi-Salam) in a dream, it means an increase in his wisdom, light in his heart, and elevation of his station.

If one sees Mūsā (Alayhi-Salam) in a prison or persecuted, or if one fears a major event that could put an end to his life, or an accident that could kill him, or a dangerous sea trip that could drown him, it means that Allah-willing, he will escape and survive such adversity. Seeing Moses (Alayhi-Salam) in a dream also means the end of tyranny or victory in a war. If one is oppressed, worried, and distressed by his own family, and if he sees Mūsā (Alayhi-Salam) in a similar situation in a dream, it means that Allah Almighty will guide him to a way to overcome them, or if a traveler sees such a dream, it means that he will return safely to his home. Seeing Mūsā (Alayhi-Salam) in a dream also indicates trials during one’s childhood, separation from one’s family, witnessing uncommon miracles, or that one may suffer from his own family because of an admonition, or it could represent a will he will leave to them, or it could mean commanding good and eschewing evil.

Dreaming of any of the great angels of Allah (Such as Jibreel, Mikaail, Izrail, and Israfeel – Alayhimus Salaam) heralds, plentiful rain, fertility of land, abundant risk, and reduction in prices of goods or commodities, it is also a glad tiding that the observer of such a dream will attain martyrdom.
