Wa’alaykum as Salām wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuhu,
A rat is inherently Ḥarām and vermin of the earth, and hence the Prophet (ṣallAllāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam) has described them as Fuwasiq (corrupt). They cannot be rendered Ḥalal by domestication.
