Is drawing a head without a neck haram?

Wa’alaykum as  Salam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu,

The ruling is determined on whether the facial features are drawn or not.

If a person draws a head, but does not draw the nose and mouth, then it is fine. It does not matter whether there is a neck or not.

Conversely, it is not permissible to draw the nose and mouth, irrespective whether there is a neck or not.

And Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala knows best.
